Walleye is around mid- May to June after spawn has taken place and the warming trend of summer has started. Bass and Panfish is early to mid- September when the cooling weather has arrived. Though as a Guide, I believe all summer is the best time to fish 😁
With so many lakes to choose from, it’s hard to nail down just one lake. The top lakes consist of Ottertail Lake, Lake Lida, Pelican Lake, Star lake, and West Battle Lake.
Its between these fisheries I believe you could fish all summer and always find fish in active strike zones!!
Absolutely. I encourage all to enjoy their vacation in anyway they see fit. With that being said, YOU are responsible to moderate enough to keep it light and fun.
Is there ever a guarantee with anything? But yes we will. I do everything in my power to make sure there are plenty of hooksets throughout your trip, and that we have a great day on the water. The process starts days before your trip. I cover the lake we will be fishing by scouting and utilizing my most current up to date electronics finding new areas and watching migration routes of walleyes, muskies, bass, and our famous panfish.
Pan fried is the most popular. Typical ingredients are walleye fillets (bounty of fishing with JN guide service), bread crumbs or shore lunch batter, eggs and oil.
